Students learn best when they are feeling their best! A registered nurse is available every school day from 8am to 3:30pm in the Health Clinic for minor injuries and illnesses. Health services are not offered during after school activities, including extended day programs. All faculty and staff are CPR certified, ‘Stop the Bleed’ trained, and undergo annual EpiPen and anaphylaxis training. The School Nurse: Minor Injuries & Illness Evaluates and provides nursing care for minor injuries and illnesses which occur during school hours Health Conditions Provides care for students with diabetes, asthma, severe allergies, seizure disorders, and other chronic health conditions Medications Administers physician prescribed and over the counter medications provided by parents during school hours Communication with Families & Facult/Staff Communicates with students, parents, faculty, administrators, the school counselor, and health care providers to ensure each student’s health is optimized for learning Medical Records Monitors and updates student medical records for compliance with federal and state laws and school policy Inquire Visit Apply The Pine School is an independent college preparatory school educating students in Kindergarten through 12th Grade. 12350 S.E.
