Global warming has been accelerating in recent years, causing many adverse environmental effects in various regions around the world. It is becoming urgent to deal with this problem in every way possible. One of these ways is to design sustainable energy systems with the highest possible efficiency in order to minimize carbon emissions.
Transition away from fossil fuels and the employment of the digital technology are some of the most effective means to achieve this goal. Advanced software can be used in optimizing the design of such energy systems. It can also be used to operate and monitor the performance of these systems and identify and correct faulty operation in real time. The theme of this year’s conference is focused on the use of digital technology in sustainability.
