What is the application process to study at the Moderna University like?
Stage 1
. Meeting the admission criteria for a bachelor or master degree programs:
Holding a matriculation certificate (baccalaureate)
Having a first degree diploma (Bachelor’s Degree) in case of applying for a Master’s Degree
Stage 2
. Collecting all the documents
The application form
A photocopy of the matriculation certificate and its original copy for inspection
The first degree (Bachelor’s) diploma (in case of applying for a Master’s Degree)
1 photograph 4.5 x 3.5 cm
A colour photograph in JPG format with dimensions of 456 x 368 (height to width) pixels, with a resolution of 300 dpi.
Foreigners shall additionally submit:
A photocopy of the matriculation certificate (Bachelor’s Degree diploma – in case they apply for a Master Degree Program) together with a certified translation and the apostille or the document authentication
A photocopy of the passport together with the visa
Insurance policy
Medical certificate confirming they have no contraindications to start studying in Poland
A copy of the certificate confirming their knowledge of English language, if they hold one.
Stage 3
. Delivery of the set of documents to the Recruitment Office by regular mail or in person.
Stage 4
. Signing the Study Agreement and paying the recruitment-related fee (the admission fee).
Should I submit the enrolment documents in person?
It is not necessary. The complete set of documents may be submitted on the applicant’s behalf by a person authorised by this applicant to do that. However, please remember that the application form must be signed by the applicant. The complete set of required documents may also be delivered to the Recruitment Office by regular mail.

Can I sign up to study without passing my matriculation examination?
No, it’s impossible to be admitted to study without a matriculation certificate.
What are the working hours of the Recruitment Office?
The Recruitment Office is open: Monday – Friday 8.00 – 16.00
To what account number should I pay the admission fee?
In case of admission fees, all candidates shall contact the Admission Office. Tuition for studies should be paid by the student to an individual account number specified in each study agreement. Please contact the Treasury Office if you have any more inquiries.
What should I do if I want to transfer from another university?
The transfer procedure takes place through an online recruitment system or by contacting the Recruitment Office.
The applicant should declare to which year and semester he or she wishes to be admitted.
The applicant should provide copies of the transcripts (student’s educational records) from the previous university.
The applicant should submit an application to the Dean.
Based on the applicant’s documentation, the Dean makes a decision on admission, of which the student is informed by the Recruitment Office.
How many sessions are there during the academic year?
The number of sessions depends on the number of teaching hours at any given field and major of study, however, the curriculum is planned for approximately 16 sessions.
Do the Moderna University students receive financial support?
All students, regardless of the mode of studies, can apply for financial assistance benefits such as: social bursaries, special financial assistance grants, the Rector’s scholarships or student loans. The granting of the benefit and its amount is determined by specified conditions that need to be met. Detailed rules of granting the various forms of financial assistance are to be found on the website of the university or in the Treasury Office.
What is the deadline for submission of social bursary applications?
Applications for social bursaries are accepted as follows:
in the winter semester until 31 October,
in the summer semester until 31 March.
Applications for the Rector’s scholarships are accepted as follows:
in the winter semester until 31 October for students from the winter recruitment intake,
in the summer semester until 31 March for students from the summer recruitment intake.
