Gastrointestinal (GI) problems affect people of all ages, but they can be especially challenging for children and teens. At Phoenix Children’s, our pediatric gastroenterologists have advanced training and expertise to care for children with GI issues, from common to rare and medically complex disorders.
Why Choose Phoenix Children’s?
When you come to Phoenix Children’s, you’ll be cared for by compassionate and experienced gastroenterologists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, therapists and other staff. These experts are dedicated to helping your child experience the best digestive health possible and live life to the fullest.
Our comprehensive GI program ensures your child will be cared for by the largest group of subspecialists in the state. Our experts can address all aspects of your child’s GI health condition as well as related conditions, coordinating care with other specialists and offering second opinions when needed. Also, you may be invited to join a clinical research trial to discover a new, cutting-edge treatment option.
This approach is guided by the latest clinical evidence and the highest standards of care. Our quality, evidence-based care ensures we offer effective treatments, such as therapeutic endoscopy and other minimally invasive procedures.
You’ll serve as a key member of the care team, and we’ll educate your family on all aspects of your child’s condition. We are committed to making sure your child has an accurate diagnosis and, if they are old enough, understands the impact of diet and proper nutrition. Our goal is to set up your child for life-long success.
