Researchers at Penn have found that hydralazine, a drug that has been used for 70 years to treat hypertension and preeclampsia, has a new application in combating aggressive brain tumors. “It’s rare that an old cardiovascular drug ends up teaching us something new about the brain,” @pennmedicine biochemist Megan Matthews says.
