The knowledge had ever been the fundamental commodity for better, safer, secure and prosperous society. The present era has highlighted the importance of knowledge as labeling the modern human civilization as knowledge based economy and society. Libraries, being knowledge management institutions, are major stake holders in the process of knowledge creation, innovation and dissemination. Ever-growing volume of knowledge with its transitory nature has made the role of libraries more important and useful. The Libraries not only serve as repositories and preservation of knowledge institutions but also gateway to polycentric repositories in the age of cyberspace. They connect information users with information users through information super highway. The Quaid-e-Azam Library network of libraries is determined to deliver online and offline quality library services to the academia, researchers and students in order to support research, innovation, creation of knowledge and accomplishment of academic programs of the university.
