*** Admission & Registration (Online): After the results are published, selected candidates can complete ONLINE admission and registration process immediately. Based on the Successful completion of admission and registration, freshman students will receive their AIUB student ID and AIUB official student email address on the Microsoft Office 365 Education platform. With this email address, AIUB students are entitled to all official applications of Microsoft Office 365 Education platform including MS Teams (the official online teaching-learning platform of AIUB).
*** Selected candidates are encouraged to complete their admission process through the online portal (https://admission.aiub.edu/ ). But, if it is more convenient for the candidates to complete the admission process on campus, they must follow the safety & security protocols while on the premises. The academic credentials of the candidate must conform to the requirements of the respective programs of the university (as stated below). Any discrepancy will be considered as a major disciplinary violation and may lead to cancellation of admission. Admission Requirements
Undergraduate Program Requirements
1.
For Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
Applicants must be permanent residents of Bangladesh. Foreign applicants may apply only for the reserved seats allocated by the Government of Bangladesh.
Applicants must have passed
SSC/O-level or recognized equivalents
and
HSC/A-level or recognized equivalents
in the
Science group
, with
a minimum total GPA of 8.00
(on a scale of 10) and
a minimum GPA of 3.50
(on a scale of 5) separately. In the HSC examination, applicants must have a minimum
GPA of 3.50 in
Chemistry and Biology
and
a minimum GPA of 3.00 in Physics and Mathematics
.
For A-levels
, a
Grade 'B'
is recommended for
Chemistry and Biology
, and a minimum
Grade 'C'
is required for
Physics and Mathematics
.
However, applicants
with a GPA below 3.00
/
who have failed in Mathematics
/
did not have Mathematics
at
HSC/A-level or a recognized equivalent
may still be admitted, but they will be required to take an additional 3-credit course in Mathematics relevant to the B. Pharm curriculum.
Applicants must have passed the
HSC/A-Level or a recognized equivalent examination
in the current year or within the past two years.
Foreign applicants must have completed 12-years of education and obtain an equivalence certificate from the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council by paying the required fees.
2.
BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Applicants must have passed the
HSC/A-Level
or a recognized equivalent examination in the current year. Only one year of break from study after passing HSC/A-Level or an equivalent examination will be allowed for admission.
Applicants passed in SSC/recognized equivalents and HSC/recognized equivalents should have Science group,
with a minimum GPA of 5.00
(on a scale of 10) and a
minimum GPA of 2.50
(on a scale of 5) in each.
In the O-level examination, applicants must have a GPA of 2.50 in a minimum of 5 subjects and a GPA of 2.00 in a minimum of 2 subjects in the A-level examination, and obtain at least “C” grade in
both O-level and A-level examinations
.
Applicants having an
International Baccalaureate
or a
U.S. High School Diploma
will also be considered for admission.
Students must have Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics at the pre-university Level. However, applicants
who did not have Mathematics
at pre-university level may still be admitted, but they will be required to take an additional 3-credit course in Mathematics relevant to the BSc curriculum of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Foreign applicants must have completed a
12-year equivalent degree
and obtain an equivalence certificate from the Ministry of Education.
3. For EEE/ IPE/ COE/ Architecture/ B.Science (CSE, DS & CNCS):
A total
GPA of 5.00
with a minimum
GPA of 2.50
in Science background.
Math
must be included at
HSC level
.
Minimum
GPA 2.5
in O Levels with no grade lower than ‘D’ among best
5 subjects
and
Minimum
GPA 2.0
in A' level.
Math and Physics
must be included at
A' level
(in 2 Subjects)
with grade not lower than D.
(Scale: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2 & E=1).

Written Exam Waiver Conditions (will be called for viva interview):
Minimum score of 1650 in SAT for undergraduate program out of 2400
Minimum score of 1106 in SAT for undergraduate program out of 1600
Graduate Program Requirements
1. Requirements for MA in English:
(a)
4-year Bachelor of Arts in English or
(b)
At least a second class in a 3-year Bachelor of Arts program in English or
(c)
M. A. or MS in subjects of liberal arts & social sciences and
(d)
Minimum 2nd division in SSC, HSC & Graduation from any of the disciplines or minimum GPA 2.5 in HSC & SSC (in the scale of 5) and minimum CGPA 2.5 in bachelor’s degree (in the scale of 4) or
(e)
For A Level & O Level Background, Minimum GPA 2.5 in O Levels & GPA 2.0 in A Levels separately with no grade lower than ‘D’ among best 5 subjects in O level and best 2 subjects in A' level. (Scale: A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2 & E=1).
2. Requirements for Regular MBA /MDS/ MsCS / M.TEL/ MEEE:
(a)
Minimum 3 Years of Bachelor Degree completion is required.
(b)
Minimum 2nd division in SSC, HSC & Graduation from any of the disciplines or minimum GPA 2.5 in HSC & SSC (in the scale of 5) and minimum CGPA 2.5 in Bachelor Degree (in the scale of 4).
(c)
For A Level & O Level Background, Minimum GPA 2.5 in O Levels & GPA 2.0 in A Levels separately with no grade lower than‘D’among best 5 subjects in O'level and best 2 subjects in A' level.(Scale:A=5,B=4,C=3,D=2 &E=1).
Additional Requirements for MsCS:
4 Years Graduation degrees is required in CS, CSE, CIS,SE, CSSE, EEE, COE, ECE, MIS, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, or in any other science or Technical disciplines (To be decided by Prog. Director)

Additional Requirements for MTEL/ MEEE:
4 Years Graduation degrees is required in EEE, COE, ECE, ETE, CS, CSE, CIS, SE, CSSE, App. Physics & Electronics, ICT, ICE, APEE, APECE or in any other science or Technical disciplines (decided by Prog.Director)

3. Requirements for EMBA:
(a)
Graduation in any dicipline with minimum 2nd Divisio
n.
(b)
At least 3 years working experience with current permanent job (case to case basis) in an office
.
4. Requirements For MDS:
(a)
Graduation in any  discipline with Minimum CGPA 2.5 or 2nd class is required in Bachelor Degree
.
5. Requirements For MPH:
(a)
Graduation in any discipline of Health Science
.
(b)
Graduation in any discipline with work experience in Health Care Organization
.
(c)
Posses an M.B.B.S., B.D.S., M.D. or a 3-4 years Bachelor degree or any other equivalent degree
.
(d)
No 3rd division (Exception may be made for candidates with substantial amount of experience)

6. Requirements For Regular LLM:
(a)
Minimum 3 Years of Bachelors Degree - LLB (hon) completion is required

(b)
Minimum 2nd division in SSC, HSC and Bachelors in LL.B (Hons), OR minimum GPA 2.5 (in the scale of 5) in SSC & HSC, and minimum CGPA 2.5 (in the scale of 4) in Bachelors in LL.B (Hons)

(c)

Step 02:
Fill up all required fields with correct
data and upload a recent color photograph and academic papers (in .JPG
format)
Step 03:
Take print outs of the Applicant Copy and
preserve it for future references.
Step 04:
Usually it requires 24 hours (72 hours for
weekends) to verify the educational information. Applicants may
proceed to Payment after the Verification is done.
Step 05:
After the Verification is done. Applicant
can download the Admit Card from the Portal before attending the
Admission Examination.
Step 06:
Bring the Admit Card for the Admission
Examination.
