How to Apply
1.
Download the Information Bulletin and read it carefully before filling up the Online
Application form
2.
Students must register themselves in the admission portal before filling up the online
application form for admission into any Degree Programme under the University.
3.
There are 3 steps in filling the Application Form.
a) Registration in University Admission Portal
b) Fill up the Application Form online and upload all relevant documents.
c) Pay the required Application Fee using Payment Gateway
4.
The online application requires JavaScript to be enabled in the candidate's browser to
function properly. Some functions of the online web submission programme will not work properly if
JavaScript is disabled in the Web browser. Please enable JavaScript if not enabled by default. For
any help, see the following website for help on "how to enable JavaScript in his/her browser-
http://enable-javascript.com/".
Step 1 - Registration
1.
The candidate must have a valid personal EMAIL ID and a Mobile Number for
registration. These
will be required for communication during and after admission.
2.
Upon successful registration, the Applicant shall receive a confirmation message
with the
credentials in the Registered Mobile Number and an email in the registered email ID with a
verification link. Link sent in the email is to be verified for the registration process to
complete.
3.
The information filled in the Application Form once finalized/submitted cannot be
changed
afterwards. It cannot be corrected /modified at the university end also. Hence, no request
for
changing data/information of a submitted application shall be entertained. A candidate can
however register afresh.
Step 2 - Fill in the Application Form
1.
After successful completion of registration, the candidate needs to upload his/her
photo
& signature (each with a maximum size of 100KB) in JPEG format. While uploading, he/she can
also crop his/her photo and signature online.
2.
The candidate is required to enter his/her personal and academic information in
relevant
pages (he/she needs to upload his/her certificates in PDF format with a maximum size of
150KB). Fill in all the miscellaneous information

Upload the documents in PDF files (maximum size of 150KB each).
4.
The candidate can fill or update the data any number of times till final
submission. Once
finalized and submitted no changes can be made. Do not Finalize the Application Form until
all the information is correctly entered. The Application Form cannot be edited after Final
Submission.
5.
Submit the Application Form if all Information are correctly entered.
Step 3 - Payment of Fee
1.
Once the application form is filled up, check the whole application form in the
preview.
Double-check the application form and submit it.
2.
Once the application form is submitted system will redirect the candidate to the
payment
page, where the candidate may pay the application fee online through the payment gateway
integrated with the application form. No other payment mode is accepted other than the
integrated system.
3.
The candidate shall receive a confirmation after the payment transaction which
shall also
be shown in the 'Payment History' on his/her Dashboard
4.
After Final Submission and successful payment of the registration fee, an
acknowledgement
sheet will appear. Take a printout for the record

Age Proof Certificate (e.g. Birth Certificate, Class-X Admit Card etc.) in pdf

f)
Caste certificate in pdf, if applicable (max. 150KB)

Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) / Nativity Certificate in pdf (max.
150KB)
h)
Medical Fitness Certificate in AAU format (please check the information

Fee Refund Policy:
REFUND OF CAUTION MONEY
As per Regulations on Academic Matters (Amended) of Assam Agricultural University, refund of
caution money shall be made to a student within one month of the date of release from the
College concerned. The claim for refund of caution money shall not be entertained after a
period of one year from the date of release of the student from the College. The caution
money shall not be refunded if a student leaves the College without permission and/or does
not join and attend any class after admission. Refund of Caution money shall be made against
application in prescribed form (Form 8 for UG and Form No. PG-13 for PG) and on production
of Clearance Certificate (Form 6 for UG and Form No. PG-05B for PG).
