Center for Visual Arts at AU
In addition to studios for ceramics, drawing, graphic design, painting, printmaking and sculpture, the Augustana University Center for Visual Arts in the Fryxell Humanities Center is home to the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery, Carl Grupp Permanent Collection, Hovland Center for Liturgical Arts and dedicated spaces for displaying student work in a range of mediums. Additional exhibition spaces on campus include
The Center for Western Studies
, which seeks to improve the quality of social and cultural life in the Northern Plains that has rotating exhibits of regional artists.
The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery and Carl Grupp Permanent Collection
— Space for showcasing an average of nine exhibits per year and housing AU’s permanent art collection
The Hovland Center for Liturgical Arts
— A repository of information regarding the liturgical art of our region
Eide/Dalrymple Gallery
The Augustana University Eide/Dalrymple Gallery in the Fryxell Humanities Center provides a space for showcasing an average of nine exhibits per year. In addition, the gallery houses the Carl Grupp Permanent Art Collection.
