STAND TALL STORIES
Real CUC students and alumni are standing tall and making a difference.
Learn How They Answered the Call

My education at CUC is preparing me to preach the faith and be there for others, while also having the intelligence and skills to work out situations by using logic and reasoning.

Will Schleuter ’26, Theology/Pre-Seminary

I get inspired by helping people unlock their potential. My professors have empowered me to live my dream. I want to show my gratitude by enabling others to live their dreams as well.

Ahmed Montasser DBA ’20, Strategic Leadership specialization

Ultimately, if I’m giving people a good experience while they’re interacting with me, then it’s going to come back in a positive way. That’s probably one of the biggest things I learned from Concordia-Chicago faculty and staff."

Jorge Palacios '19, Private Client Banker - J.P. Morgan Chase

I learned so much from the coursework and was able to apply it to a new career path, where I am making a difference at a nonprofit that trains veterans to become software developers.

Alicia Boddy MA ’17, Grant Writing, Management and Evaluation

The environment of homeschoolers is very similar to college. You have to study on your own and take initiative. Having professors who believe in you makes a world of difference.

Benjamin Simmons BA ’23 (anticipated), Director of Christian Education

I passed my National Counselor Exam on the first try and landed a job immediately after graduation. This program prepares professional counselors to be catalysts for change.

Mike Gleason MA ’17, Clinical Mental Health Counseling
