Te-Hina Paopao, class of 2020
Te-Hina is a talented point guard known for her sharpshooting, who played college basketball at Oregon and South Carolina before being drafted by the Atlanta Dream in the 2025 WNBA Draft. She earned All-Pac-12 honors at Oregon and helped lead the undefeated South Carolina Gamecocks to a National Championship in 2024, ranking as a top 3-point shooter nationally.
Mai-Loni Henson, class of 2016
Mai-Loni had four successful years on the women's basketball team at the University of Washington where she was a three-year starter. After graduation, Mai-Loni signed a professional contract to play basketball in France for Al-Aplemont, a team based in Le Havre. She also played for AS Aulnoye in France. Mai-Loni has now entered the coaching ranks and is currently an assistant coach at Loyola University Chicago.
Alfonso Rivas, Class of 2015
Alfonso played baseball for three years at the University of Arizona and helped lead his team to the 2016 College Baseball World Series. He was drafted in the 4th round by the Oakland Athletics in 2018. After being traded to the Chicago Cubs, Alfonso made his Major League debut in 2021 and played in 101 games for the Cubs in 2022. Alfonso has also been a member of the St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Padres and is now playing the Mexican Professional League.
Alex Guenette, Class of 2013
Alex signed as a free agent with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2017 after a 4-year career at catcher for the University of California, Irvine. He had a brief career in the Milwaukee Brewers minor league system.
Kelsey Plum, Class of 2013
Kelsey Plum
was the number one pick in the 2017 WNBA draft (San Antonio Stars) after setting the NCAA career scoring record and being selected the 2017 NCAA Player of the Year at the University of Washington. Kelsey won a gold medal in 3x3 basketball at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She then helped lead the Las Vegas Aces win the 2022 WNBA Championship. In 2025, Kelsey signed to play with the Los Angeles Sparks.

Tommy Edman, Class of 2013
Tommy
was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals out of Stanford University in 2016. After working his way up the minor leagues, Tommy made his major league debut with the Cardinals in 2019. Tommy earned a starting position and helped lead the Cardinals to the postseason in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. Tommy was awarded the Gold Glove in 2021. After being traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2024, he helped lead the team to the World Series Championship and was named MVP of the National League Championship Series. Tommy and the Dodgers repeated as World Series Champions in 2025.
Daniel Henry, Class of 2012
Daniel finished his career at safety for the University of New Mexico’s football program as the team’s 2
nd
leading tackler in 2016. He signed a free agent contract with the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens just after the 2017 draft.
Sammy Ayala, Class of 2012
Sammy Ayala
was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 17th round of the 2012 Major League Draft out of La Jolla Country Day School. He played for the Bristol White Sox in 2013 and 2014, Algodoneros de San Luis Rio Colorado in the Mexican League 2016 and the Pericos de Puebla in the Mexican League in 2017.
Anthony Paolucci, Class of 2011
Anthony Paolucci turned pro after a 2-year golf career at USC. In 2015, he played on the PTLA Qualifying Tournament-South America. In 2010, Paolucci was named 2010 Rolex Junior Player of the Year. Playing with an amateur exemption, Paolucci shot three under par over four rounds to finish 18th at the 2011 Farmers Open Golf Tournament at the Torrey Pines Golf Course. He is currently competing on the PGA - Latinoamerica tour.
Candice Wiggins, Class of 2004
New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association signed
Candice Wiggins
in 2015. As a seven-year WNBA veteran, Wiggins won a WNBA Championship with the Minnesota Lynx in 2011 and earned All-Rookie Team and Sixth Woman of the Year honors. In 2008, she won the Wade Trophy after leading Stanford to the NCAA Championship game. She played for the Tulsa Shock in 2013 and spent 2014 with the Los Angeles Sparks. Wiggins has also played professionally in Greece, Italy and Spain.
Alexandra Stevenson, Class of 1999
Stevenson
made her professional tennis debut at Wimbledon in 1999—just three weeks after graduating from LJCDS. She was the first woman qualifier to reach the semifinals of a grand slam in the Open Era. In 1999, she was named Rookie of the Year by
Tennis Magazine
and Most Fascinating People by
People Magazine. By 2002, she elevated her world ranking to No. 18, the highest of her career, and gained fame for having one of the biggest serves in the game.

Rashaan Salaam
played
college football
for the
University of Colorado
and was a recipient of 1994
Heisman Trophy
. He played for the
Chicago Bears
as a first round pick in the
1995 NFL Draft
. He also played for the
Cleveland Browns

In 2008, she won the Wade Trophy after leading Stanford to the NCAA Championship game. She played for the Tulsa Shock in 2013 and spent 2014 with the Los Angeles Sparks. Wiggins has also played professionally in Greece, Italy and Spain.

People Magazine. By 2002, she elevated her world ranking to No. 18, the highest of her career, and gained fame for having one of the biggest serves in the game.
