Guest and Patient Services representatives are available to help make each patient’s hospital stay and each guest’s visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
We have representatives conveniently located in both of our hospitals and in our outpatient clinics around campus.
Representatives can help coordinate or arrange for:
Giving directions
Answering questions
Arranging personal medical services, such as escort or wheelchair
Hotel recommendations
Transportation
Food deliveries
Guest trays
Area restaurant recommendations
Translation services
Notary services
Letter and package delivery
Hair care appointments
Videos and reading material (including newspapers)

You have the right to share a verbal or written complaint or concern regarding any aspect of your visit – whether it’s related to medical care, service, environment, or billing – and expect a timely response. At UT Southwestern, we want you to feel heard, respected, and supported every step of the way.
Addressing Your Comments and Concerns
The Patient Assistance Office offers a safe and confidential space for patients and families to share feedback, voice concerns, and seek resolution regarding their experiences within our healthcare system. We help patients and families by:
Addressing
complaints or concerns
related to care or services
Working to resolve issues
promptly and collaboratively
Bringing unresolved matters to the
appropriate leadership or departments
when needed
We take every concern seriously and are committed to reviewing your experience with fairness, compassion, and care.
If you have comments, questions, or concerns, we recommend that you or your representative first:
Discuss them with your immediate caregiver
Speak to the manager of the clinic or service in which you are receiving care
If you believe your questions or concerns have not been adequately addressed, you may request a review by contacting the
