St. Thomas welcomes approximately 350 transfer students each year – roughly 20% of our students. Through class projects, internships and other practical application opportunities, you will be prepared to make a positive impact in a career, grad school or wherever you go from here.

Ally Starks '25
After attending Johns Hopkins University for a year, Ally Starks '25 decided that a change of pace was in order. She switched from studying pre-med molecular and cellular biology at Johns Hopkins to majoring in exercise science on a pre-physical therapy track in the Morrison Family College of Health at the University of St. Thomas.
