Delmarva Public Media Partnership Brings C-SPAN Programming to Public Radio
Tuesday April 21, 2026
SALISBURY, MD---Delmarva Public Media and C-SPAN recently announced a creative collaboration that brings C-SPAN programming to the public radio airwaves for the first time.
Q&A
, a flagship C-SPAN program, is now available to public radio audiences on WSDL 90.7 FM, airing Tuesdays at 11 a.m. and Saturdays at 7 a.m. The debut marks a milestone partnership made possible through weekly collaboration with Delmarva Public Media's production team.
"The loss of federal funding for public media across the country has the biggest impact on small stations and rural communities like ours," said Bryan Russo, chief content officer of Delmarva Public Media. "Not only does this collaboration help C-SPAN enter the public radio space, but it will also help small stations across the country access great programming as budgets tighten and stations face tough decisions about costs."
"This is a genuinely exciting moment for C-SPAN. At a time when public media stations across the country are navigating an evolving media landscape, creative partnerships like this one are more important than ever. Partnering with Delmarva Public Media to bring
Q&A
to WSDL listeners is just the beginning — we see real potential to syndicate C-SPAN content to public radio stations nationwide, and we couldn't ask for a better partner to help open that door. We're thrilled to reach new audiences who may be hearing C-SPAN on the radio for the very first time," said Kate Mills, general manager of C-SPAN Radio.
While
Q&A
is currently exclusive to WSDL, both organizations are exploring syndication to additional public radio markets, as well as making other C-SPAN programs available to stations nationwide.
Delmarva Public Media is a public radio collaboration between Salisbury University and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. It combines three stations — WSCL 89.5 (Classical), WSDL 90.7 (Rhythm and News), and WESM 91.3 (Jazz, Blues and NPR News) — to provide access to news, cultural, local, and music programming to audiences across the Delmarva Peninsula.
