Federal Work-Study Program
The NYU Langone Federal Work-Study Program provides students at New York University with an opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on research experience in STEM and the biomedical sciences. Students who are eligible for Federal Work-Study awards through their financial aid package are matched with esteemed NYU Langone Health faculty members based upon their academic interests and career goals to create an enriching, learning environment. Students contribute to various aspects of the research process, including but not limited to: survey design, data collection, literature reviews, social media outreach, graphic design, and more. The program allows students to deepen their understanding of research methods and gain professional development skills while increasing the productivity and impact of faculty research efforts. Through faculty mentorship and training in scientific practice and communication, students will be better prepared for post-graduate education and career opportunities in the sciences.
