Following a fantastic first year, our tennis camp is back! Join us for another exciting season to boost your skills and have fun on the court.

Discover the perfect blend of fun and skill development at our Tennis Camps.
Players will develop essential skills through a variety of engaging games and drills, all rooted in our core values of respect, courage, and curiosity.
Led by the Head of Racquets at Alleyn's, our expert coaches provide a welcoming environment for players aged 3 to 16.
Each session features age-appropriate challenges and competitions, encouraging both individual growth and teamwork.
We warmly welcome participants from all schools—not just those attending Alleyn's.

Session Times:
Tots Tennis (3 to 4 years)
: 9:00 am to 10:00 am (1 hour – parents/guardians must remain on-site)
Mini Tennis (5 to 9 years)
: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (2 hours)
Junior Tennis (10 to 16 years)
: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm (3 hours)
Sessions are available to book individually or as a three-day block (within the same week). Booking all three days in the same week qualifies for a 10% discount.
Tennis Camps will run during the spring and summer outside of the Alleyn’s School term (excluding Bank Holidays), subject to venue availability. Future dates will be listed here as soon as they are confirmed.

Nicol Brennan - Head of Racquets at Alleyn's School
Nicol brings 12 years of coaching experience to our school. After completing a tennis apprenticeship with Tennis Scotland, he served as both coach and head coach at various clubs in Fife, working with players aged 3 to 93, from beginners to performance athletes.
As a junior, Nicol represented East of Scotland multiple times and competed for Scotland at the Fife Olympiad in Turkey. Now, he is dedicated to helping others achieve similar success.

A 10% discount is applied to 3-day week bookings.
We use a secure third-party payment and booking system called Kids Club HQ to manage all sports specific coaching courses. All bookings should be made online via this booking system.
Parents should register for an account and add all necessary details for each attendee that they wish to enrol.

When booking, please ensure attendee details are up-to-date, even if they already attend Alleyn’s School as a pupil or have previously attended a course or camp that we have run.
The information supplied online ensures that staff are fully aware of any attendees that may require additional support during their time in our care – your child will not be able to attend without providing this information.

Suitable clothing
- Players should arrive ready-to-play. Please remember to wear suitable footwear the astro surface, no studded or moulded shoes are permitted.
Please check the day's weather forecast and dress accordingly as sessions are held outdoors.
Racquets -
Players are welcome to bring their own racquet if they have one. Not to worry if not, we have plenty to borrow.
Water and refillable drinks bottle
- Everyone should bring their own water bottle to stay hydrated. We've scheduled plenty of drink breaks and have water fountains available for refilling.
Mobile Phones
- If an attendee brings a mobile phone with them to the course, we will ask that the device is turned off and kept in a bag for the duration of the session.
Unfortunately we are not able to take payment via childcare vouchers or tax-free childcare for the Tennis Camp.
We are only able to accept payment through the Government Schemes for the
Alleyn's Holiday Camp
.
We strongly encourage all visitors to consider how they travel to our site, and to choose active travel or public transport wherever possible.
Roads around Alleyn's are subject to a range of traffic and parking control measures including timed restrictions, so please pay careful attention to road signage and directions. In particular:
The junction on Townley Road and East Dulwich Grove is not available to cars in certain directions
between 8:00am to 9:00am
and
3:00pm to 4:30pm.
Southwark Council manages two different Controlled Parking Zones (CPZs) covering roads around the Senior and Junior School entrances. These areas are regularly patrolled by traffic wardens.

Travel and Directions
Traveling to Alleyn’s
All visitors must arrive through the Senior School Main Entrance on Townley Road please. You will not be able to access the school via Hillsboro Road.
Attendees should arrive at the Astro Pitches
, already changed and ready to play, at least 5 minutes before the start time. Before starting any activity, they must check in and register with a staff member who will be waiting for their arrival.
If you are new to Alleyn’s, or need reminding on where to go, please see the below map.
Parents for older attendees (Year 6 and up), although welcome, are not required to be present where prior consent has been provided for attendees to arrive and walk home on their own.
Attendees with asthma or a severe allergy must bring their inhaler/adrenaline auto-injector with them each day and should hand these to the Lead Coach at registration for safe keeping if required.

Please ensure attendees are wearing suitable clothing for the weather.
If the weather is particularly bad, players will have the opportunity to enjoy fun indoor games. Older children can also learn and play table tennis where available.
