The School of Computer Science, Engineering, and Technology has developed a comprehensive curriculum for the MCA program to help students in business applications, critical thinking, empirical and quantitative analysis, communication, teamwork, and life skills. The

Program Core Courses
The Core Courses build a solid foundation for students to learn concepts such as data structures, algorithms, network systems, operating systems, software engineering and databases, essential for any computing professional.
The specialisation comprises two Core Courses and three Elective Courses. It also has a specialisation-oriented Capstone Project and an Internship. Specialisations are chosen at the time of admissions.

These courses are aligned with international standards in AI. Additionally, the University has partnered with NVIDIA, SAP, Hitachi, and Times Internet, offering students opportunities to work on cutting-edge projects.
Blockchain
The curriculum for the Blockchain specialisation has been developed in consultation with CEOs and CXOs from BankchainAsset.com, Digiledge, and other subject matter experts. Electives include-

The growing reliance on online transactions and digital engagements has resulted in an increased demand for a robust Cyber Security framework. To address this, the curriculum has been designed by leaders from the Data Security Council of India (DSCI), QoS Technologies, IBM, and other industry experts.

Data Science
Data scientists play a crucial role in the development of smart cities, the automation industry, BFSI, and Fintech sectors. Recognizing the significance of Data Science, Bennett University has developed a specialised curriculum in collaboration with top executives from Microsoft, Google, TCS, and other experts. The curriculum includes electives such as

These are University-wide courses offered by different schools. Students can select courses from any open elective list available across the University. Popular options include courses like Mobile Journalism, Start-ups, and Copyright Law.
Honours
An optional Honours consists of a set of 4 courses that provide additional knowledge in the same or related area of study. These Honours courses are offered in the 2nd and 3rd semesters, contributing an additional 12 credits to the students.

Projects during Industry Internship
Internships
Two internships are part of the curriculum. The first internship is available in the 3rd semester, which can be an alternative to the capstone project. The Capstone Design, and the Capstone Project are cutting edge courses to prepare the students for the industry. The second internship is done in the final semester. There is also one flexible option for the students to spend a year in an Industry internship during the final year of study. Internship options are available at many leading companies.

The lab consists of 32 Dell machines with the latest configuration. Moreover, it has the support of Dell-EMC. Dell provides support in faculty training, collaborative projects, and exclusive workshops.
Specific areas of operation will include Information Storage and Management (“ISM”), Cloud Infrastructure Services (“CIS”), Data Science and Big Data Analytics (“DSBDA”) and Data Protection and Management (“DPM”). It will help students acquire the skills required by Fortune 500 companies.
The lab incorporates incorporates information, resources, expertise, training, and knowledge in the field of (i) Information Storage and Management, (ii) Cloud Infrastructure Services, (iii) Data Protection and Management and (iv) Data Science and Big Data Analytics to enable Bennett University to disseminate the information and knowledge.

The lab provides a world-class workstation experience, ensuring smooth performance. Researchers and scholars use the lab for AI applications in healthcare, security, cognition, text, image, and video analysis.

Apple iMac Design & Multi-Media Lab
The lab is designed for running courses that require high-end graphics performance, including 3D graphics and video editing. It will be specifically used for activities and projects related to gaming, design, multimedia, modern art, and media production. The high configuration of the machines will also support resource-intensive applications for research involving large-scale simulations and experimentation.
The Centre will focus on multimedia design and research. It will be equipped with Apple iMacs, featuring high-end graphics and components ideal for multimedia work. A total of 32 high-performance machines will be available to support the objectives of the lab.
10 Programming labs
This lab is designed to teach programming and coding skills to first-year students. It is equipped with state-of-the-art systems that meet all the necessary requirements for effective programming instruction.
Information Management System Lab
This lab supports the curricular requirements of Information Management, Database Management Systems, and other business processing applications. It is equipped with relevant software and IT infrastructure to fulfill these requirements.
Cloud Computing Lab
This lab addresses and supports the curricular requirements of Cloud Computing processing and applications. Students get hands-on practical experience through lab work for Cloud-Based Computer Laboratory (CBCL) solutions, including certifications such as Microsoft Azure.
It is equipped with relevant software and IT infrastructure to fulfill these requirements.
Drone Labs
This lab focuses on meeting the curricular requirements in the field of Drone Technology, including drone assembly and application implementation.
The Drone Lab provides facilities for the development of various drone technologies and sensing equipment, which can be integrated into drones such as DJI Mavic AIR QUADCOPTER DRONE, Veerobot F450 AIR QUADCOPTER DRONE and other advanced platforms. Students use development platforms such as Jetson Nano Nvidia Development Kit, and Raspberry Pi for their projects.
The lab is equipped with a wide range of drone platforms, including quadcopters, hexacopters, pipeline crawlers, and remotely operated underwater vehicles, supporting diverse research and development activities.
IoT and Robotics Lab
This lab supports the curricular requirements for IoT and Robotics, providing students with hands-on experience using the Robo NAO and implementing applications with the NAO V6 Humanoid Robot.
In this lab, students also build an Artificial Being (ABe), a network of mobile robots that emulate the various parts and functions of a body, differentiating it from traditional humanoid robots.
Computer Network and Cyber Security Lab
This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements of Computer Network and Cyber Security Lab on Simulator Tools, including Hardware hand on experience with Routers and the latest CISCO Switches.
Students use different wireless network components and features providing network security and to set Firewall Security in windows/ Linux OS for implementing different types of vulnerabilities for hacking websites /Web Applications.
Data Structure Labs
This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements in the domain of Data Structure Labs.
We provide the students with knowledge about Data Structures, Applications of data structures, Problem-solving using data structure tools and Techniques. Students are made familiar with C programming and its applications.
AR and VR Gaming
This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements in the domain of AR and VR Gaming Labs.
Our Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Media Lab contains some of the most cutting-edge head- mounted displays available today. Students have access to the technology for the development of VR and AR software using Oculus Go Standalone Virtual Realty Headset and many other.
Microprocessor Lab
This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements in the domain of Microprocessing Lab to provide intensive practical exposure to learn the assembly and embedded C programming systematically for the different issues of microprocessors and implement their codes on INTEL ALTERA DE2 115 DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION Boards.
Big Data and Machine Learning Lab
This Lab is for taking care of the curricular requirements in the domain of Big Data Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and develop predictive models to solve their problems.
Where students build and train deep neural networks, build a CNN and apply it to detection and recognition tasks, Train test sets, analyze variance for DL applications, use standard techniques and optimization algorithms, and build neural networks in TensorFlow. Students can Build and train RNNs, work with NLP and Word Embeddings, and use HuggingFace tokenizers and transformer models to perform NER.
Quantum Computing Labs
This lab supports the curricular requirements in the domain of Quantum Computing, focusing on both research and the application of quantum theory to advance computer technology.
By leveraging quantum simulations, the lab offers hands-on exercises that run on real quantum systems provided by IBM Quantum Experience.

Yes, you can do MCA after B.com from Bennett University. However, the B.Com background is not directly linked to MCA. Therefore, you can bridge the gap with preparatory courses in Mathematics and Computer Science to strengthen your foundation. Additionally, you need to check the eligibility criteria for an MCA course to pursue it.
