Your APU EATS Experience Starts Here.
At Azusa Pacific University, we believe that dining is more than a daily necessity—it’s
a sacred opportunity for
community. Some of the best learning happens over a shared meal. Whether you’re fueling
up between classes on West Campus, grabbing a late-night snack on East Campus, or
gathering with friends for Sunday brunch, APU EATS is here to make sure you never
go hungry.
From on-campus residents to commuters and graduate students, we’ve designed our dining
experience with
you
in mind.
Why Choose a Meal Plan?
Choosing a meal plan isn’t just about food—it’s about value and flexibility. Your
dollar goes further with us, giving you more time to focus on your studies.
Use your plan at
any
on-campus dining venue across both campuses.
No need to carry cash or a debit card; your student ID is your key to a world of flavors.
Specially Curated Menus: From our all-you-care-to-eat dining hall to retail favorites,
there’s always something new to try.
Mobile ordering through Grubhub.
No sales tax—a savings of more than 10%.
How It Works: Your Dining Toolkit
We offer three distinct ways to dine, ensuring there’s a perfect fit for your lifestyle:
Meal Swipes:
Head over to 1899 Dining Hall for an all-you-care-to-eat experience, or use a swipe
for a “Meal Exchange” from specially curated meal exchange menus at four of our other
dining venue locations.
Flex Dollars:
Use Flex Dollars for individual items, coffee runs, or full meals. These roll over
from fall to spring as long as you continue with a meal plan.
Block Plans:
Perfect for the student on the go. Use your swipes anytime throughout the semester—you
decide when!
Note for Residents:
If you live in Trinity, Adams, or Engstrom, you’ll automatically be enrolled in
Cougar Plan B
, so you have a seat at our table from day one (RAs and RARs, you’ll start with
Cougar Plan C
). Signing the Meal Plan Agreement is required for all meal plan participants.
Students can sign up for a meal plan online (log in to
home.apu.edu
).
Flex Dollars can be added to a meal plan in increments of $50. All Flex Dollars are
paid through the One Card office, or
students can add Flex Dollars online
(you will need to log in to
home.apu.edu
with your APUNetID and password).
Access your meal plan with:

Meal plans cannot be used during holidays or other breaks when dining locations are
closed. Dining locations are typically closed during the Thanksgiving and Christmas
holidays, and operating hours may be modified during various university events and
holidays. Meal plans are not available during the summer, but students can use Cougar
Bucks at open dining locations. View the

We have dining venues on both campuses, from an all-you-care-to-eat venue to a grab-and-go
market. Our menus range from classic burgers and pizza to delicious global flavors.
Food is prepared from scratch daily using fresh, seasonal, and often locally sourced
ingredients.
APU EATS prides itself on providing high-quality and nutritious cuisine to meet the
wide variety of dietary needs within our diverse APU community. We offer support for
students with food allergies and specialized dietary requirements. Our APU EATS staff
can meet with you to discuss food options available in each of our venues. See our
website for more information or email
[email protected]
. Students with highly specific or complex needs should contact our Accessibility
and Disability Resources office at
[email protected]
as soon as possible to learn more about what accommodations are available, and whether
these will meet their needs. A required meal plan can be petitioned only for medical
reasons. If you have a medical condition that you believe may keep you from maintaining
a required meal plan, refer to the steps in
Special Dietary Requests (PDF)
Grubhub
Campus dining on Grubhub is a mobile food ordering platform for on-campus dining venues.
Grubhub partners with APU EATS to bring you the ultimate dining experience where you
order ahead and pay with your campus ID Card, debit card, or credit card. Instead
of waiting in line, you can order from your phone and pick up your food when notified.
First, download the Grubhub app available in the App Store and Google Play. Then create
your account, go to “My Grubhub,” navigate to your account settings, and choose “Campus
Dining.”
Cougar Bucks
Students and/or parents can deposit money into an account called Cougar Bucks. The
APU student ID card, or virtual ID card via the APU Now app, is used to access these
funds. See the
One Card
webpage for more details.
Cougar Bucks can be used at all APU EATS venues, the
Campus Store
, and library printers.
All transactions debited through the APU ID card are final at the point and time of
sale. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to keep a record of each card transaction.
These transactions can be accessed through their GET account. For questions about
adding funds to an ID card, email
[email protected]
