Researchers and collaborators can explore the PEGS data.
Pegs with i2b2
i2b2 is the
Informatics for Integrating Biology and the Bedside software
, developed at the NIH-funded National Center for Biomedical Computing (NCBC) based at Partners HealthCare System. i2b2 is a self-service tool that allows researchers to explore and query the deidentified and aggregated PEGS data by building queries to assist with cohort discovery and identification. Researchers and collaborators are encouraged to use i2b2 for the PEGS data at various stages of their research, including but not limited to:
Data exploration
Feasibility analysis
Study design specifications
Cohort identification
Cohort demographics
Case/Control counts for phenotype of interest
Aggregated counts for exposure of interest
Researchers and collaborators can explore the PEGS data and save the results of their queries using
i2b2
as a free self-service tool. To access the PEGS data using i2b2, please request for an account on the
i2b2 web client
by clicking on the ‘Sign Up’ button at the bottom of the page. Login information will be sent to the provided email address within two days.
