Important information
Every salad and sandwich that you see in the museum is made on-site and every cake that you see is made either on-site or in our caterer’s London bakery. This means that we can always guarantee the quality of our products.
We make a lot of products without gluten—cakes, mains, salads and many other items. However, because we make our products by hand, we cannot guarantee through sampling that we will meet gluten-free criteria.
We would love for you to be able to eat with us at the Science Museum, and we understand how challenging this can be when you are unable to eat gluten.
When you visit us, please be sure to speak to our allergen champions on-site who would be happy to adapt dishes or explain how they are made for you so you have all the information you need to make the decision about what you would like to eat. Simply ask at the counter of the cafe or catering outlet you’re visiting for the allergen champion.
