About Our Ceremonies
From April 2025, all office civil marriage ceremonies and civil partnerships conducted by Falkirk Council’s Registration Service will take place at the stunning Callendar House, offering couples a truly elegant and historic setting for their special day. Nestled in the heart of Callendar Park, this move brings a touch of heritage to every ceremony while maintaining the legal registration under "Falkirk Registration Office, District of Falkirk."
Couples can choose between two ceremony options: intimate Monday ceremonies/cp registrations weddings in The Study (for the couple and two witnesses) or larger Friday ceremonies in The Queen’s Room (accommodating up to 32 guests). This change follows the closure of the Old Burgh Buildings, with registration services—including birth and death registrations—moving to Falkirk Library from May 2025.
If you have already booked your ceremony and would like to book a photography permit (see
photography guidelines
