Accreditation
Excelsia University College (ABN 50 360 319 774) is an Institute of Higher Education registered with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA PRV12064), approved to offer FEE-HELP, Youth Allowance, Austudy and Abstudy, and registered to offer courses to international students (CRICOS Provider Code 02664K).
TEQSA regulates and assures the quality of Australia’s large, diverse and complex higher education sector. TEQSA registers and evaluates the performance of higher education providers against the Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF). TEQSA also undertakes regular compliance assessments and quality assessments of all higher education providers.
Excelsia University College has limited self-accrediting authority. Excelsia University College can self-accredit higher education courses in the Performing Arts, Counselling, Education, and Social Work, up to AQF Level 9. For courses in Business, Creative Arts, or AQF Level 10 or higher, the College must seek accreditation from TEQSA.
In its provision of higher education courses Excelsia University College complies with relevant legislation, including the
Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011
,
the Higher Education Support Act 2003
, and the
Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000
(ESOS Act), and their respective Standards, Codes and Guidelines.
Excelsia University College is an affiliate of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) and a member of the Independent Higher Education Australia (IHEA).
