As a community-based healthcare provider serving people of all ages and walks of life, we are committed to helping you feel better by providing medical, dental and behavioral health care in Mendocino and Lake Counties.
At MCHC, we are defined by three things: first, our commitment to providing quality care with compassion; second, our dedication to solving local problems through collaboration with expert partners; and third, our unceasing pursuit of innovation.
These goals make our centers vital places to learn and grow–and to fulfill our mission with pride.
Founded in 1992 by the late Linnea Hunter, we opened our first center with only 13 employees. Today, we are 342 strong and we provide services at four health centers in Mendocino and Lake Counties.
Although we have grown and evolved over the years, we remain committed to the idea that healthcare is a right for all people. We throw our doors wide open to everyone in the communities we serve as we provide a full menu of services that support a whole-person approach to healthcare.
