Elementor #653829 - Noahs Ark Children's Hospital Charity
Eddie Rabaiotti - Obutuary
The charity team and trustees at Noah’s Ark are sad to announce that former trustee, Eddie Rabaiotti, has passed away.
Eddie was born in Llanelli and educated in Hereford and Cardiff. For many years he ran a famous restaurant in Penarth which catered for princes and popes, as well as the many friends he made.
Eddie was on the board of governors for Riverbank and Woodland Special schools in Ely, Cardiff and first became involved in charities through his work with the Prince of Wales Trust forty years ago. Eddie also supported the Variety Club with its work to support children in need across Wales. It was during this time that Eddie became aware of the need for a dedicated children’s hospital in Wales.
Eddie was instrumental in the formation of the Noah’s Ark Appeal in 2000 alongside his co-founders Professor Peter Gray, Lyn Jones and Wyn Calvin. He was Chair of Trustees for many years and continued to serve on the charity’s trustee board until 2017, offering valuable advice and support from his varied and rich life experiences.
Our thoughts are with Eddie’s friends and family.
