The Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic for Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties
Oaklawn is the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) for Elkhart and St. Joseph counties. This designation, issued by the state of Indiana on January 1, 2025, means that Oaklawn has met the most rigorous standards for quality behavioral health care. This reflects the breadth of Oaklawn’s comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment services, our use of scientifically-proven treatment methods, reported quality metrics and services provided to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. In addition to our status as a CCBHC, Oaklawn is licensed by the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addictions and the Indiana Department of Child Services.
Gold Seal Accreditation by the Joint Commission
Oaklawn is accredited by The Joint Commission, an independent, non-profit organization that accredits and certifies more than 20,000 health care organizations and programs around the country. We are accredited through the Behavioral Health and Human Services Accreditation Program.
