High School Program: Concurrent Enrollment
Get a head start on your college journey with our Concurrent Enrollment program! High
school students can earn college credits while still in high school, giving you a
taste of college life and a leg up on your peers.
Location
Students attend classes in their high school with other high school students.
Cost
Students are responsible for paying tuition and fees for course(s) and purchasing
textbook(s), unless supplied by the high school. When taking concurrent classes at
a high school campus during regular school hours, the Endorsed Concurrent course tuition
is provided at a reduced rate.
Students may be eligible to receive the ADHE Concurrent Challenge Scholarship. Click

Why wait to start college? With our Dual Enrollment program, high school students
can simultaneously earn high school and college credits. It's a win-win that puts
you ahead of the game!

Students earn workforce-ready credentials while completing their high school diplomas.
Courses are taught by ASUN IGNITE faculty.

Students attend classes on the ASUN Newport campus in the IGNITE Academy.

Submit Your FAFSA
In most cases, an FAFSA (Federal Application for Student Aid) is needed if seeking
Financial Aid or scholarships. To apply for the FAFSA, please have all of your tax
forms and possibly your parent’s information as well if you filed as a dependent on
your Federal Income Tax Forms. This will take about 30 minutes to complete.

The ASU-Newport offers a great rental program that allows students in most academic
programs to rent textbooks for $20 per credit hour. This program is designed with
students in mind and gives them seamless access to all of the textbooks they need

Select "Forgotten Password" below the login.

Check your personal email address. It may take up to five minutes to get to your inbox.
Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the reset password process.
Please allow up to forty-five minutes for your password to sync to our cloud application
such as Canvas LMS and Outlook.

Financial Aid Awards

Stipends
Students who have money remaining after their tuition and fees have been paid will
receive a refund. Refunds are processed after the census date for each term start
(full, flex, and fast terms). The census date is the point in time in which ASU-Newport
verifies students are attending courses. No refunds will be processed before the census
date each term.
In most cases, refunds will reach student bank accounts two to three days after they
are processed by ASU-Newport. For students who do not have direct deposits, paper
checks will be issued through the mail.  It can take a minumum of 10 days for mailed
checks to reach your address.  To ensure you receive your funds, direct deposit is
highly encouraged.

Drop My Course(s)
If you need to drop a course, please utilize the form in the link below. Withdrawing
from courses before the drop date will result in a W on your academic transcript.
Withdraws not completed on or before the last day to withdraw will result in an F
