The Department of Teaching and Learning provides a range of services and resources for integrating information literacy throughout the academic curriculum and contributing to students' lifelong learning, supporting the teaching and learning mission of UCR.
Course-Related Instruction
We offer instruction on information literacy concepts and research skills. This can look like:
Bringing your class to a library classroom
A librarian visiting your classroom
Independent student assignments in the library outside of class time
Synchronous online instruction
Requiring students to book research consultations with a librarian
Working with a librarian to exhibit student work at the library or online
