Holi Celebration
Human resource department at BU is proactive in organising social programmes for the well-being of their employees. Veteran author Joline Godfrey said, “All work and no play doesn’t only make Jill and Jack a dull, it kills the potential of discovery, mastery and openness to change and flexibility, and it hinders innovation and invention.” And the institution too thinks in similar lines. Hence, to make the workplace free from stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health-related issues, the university always vouches to celebrate myriad festivals. To add more colour in life and work, it organised a Holi party to make their employees socialise over good food, good music and healthy interactions among faculties and staff.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 2022
This year’s theme was “Yoga for Humanity”. BU celebrated the International
Yoga Day and practiced Surya namaskar, kapalbhati, anulom vilom and other
asanas.
Wellbeing
The HR department of Bennett University is committed in providing the utmost well-being to its employees. The HR takes initiative to motivate its employees to perform well in their domain, by upkeeping mental and physical health. From time to time, the department organises several sporting and wellness events to draw employees’ attention towards physical activity and bring them out of their sedentary lifestyle. On the onset of International Yoga Day, the varsity organises wellness week, wherein for the entire week, various activities are been carried out, for instance, Yoga, Zumba, meditation and much more. Furthermore, employees can avail gymnasium, besides, a sprawling sports complex, which has an array of sports including, badminton, football to be played.
To lay further emphasis on well-being, the varsity has a hospital inside the campus for immediate medical attention wherein doctors and nurses are at service 24x7. Also, it has a corporate tie-up with Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital, Greater Noida & Noida and Kailash Hospital, Greater Noida for better services for our employees and their dependents at discounted rates in OPD consultation, diagnostic tests and many more.

BU leaped forward and organised a workshop, Conflict Management at
Workplace.

Employee Wellness Week
National Employee Wellness Month is celebrated throughout the month of June, and to be a part of it, Bennett University accelerates an extra mileage to extend wellness wishes through mindful activities. Unlike every year, this year’s wellness week drew special attention, after two years of lockdown and work from home.
In 13th edition of National Employee Wellness Month, it provides an opportunity for all of us to be a part of wellness activities and BU’s HR encourage all of employees to adopt proactive strategies to improve physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
The curated an Employee Wellness Week held from June 20 to June 24, which saw employees burned out stress & sweat, did mindfulness activities, meditation, yoga and zumba.

Workshop || Conflict Management at Workplace
At the workplace, managing conflict becomes cumbersome. To detangle, HR at BU leaped forward and organised a workshop, Conflict Management at Workplace.
We all are different from each other. We have different needs, opinions, beliefs, preferences and values.
The question is, how do we cope with differences? Are they allowed to get in the way and be the source of conflict, or can we celebrate the differences and view them creatively?
Keeping this in mind HR is organising a workshop that offers an understanding of the nature of conflict and enables the participants to negotiate a solution. It aims to remove the mind-reading syndrome, which often accompanies conflict, and to replace it with open communication, trust, respect and a simple structure, which allows all parties to reach the magic of win -win.

Handling Difficult Conversations at Workplace
As part of the L&D initiative led by Bennett University's HR team, a special workshop on handling difficult workplace conversations was organized on March 23, 2023. The workshop aimed to equip participants from various departments, including IT, Finance, IQAC, Admin, Registry, B&C, and Hostel Wardens, with valuable skills in managing challenging interactions. Attendees had the opportunity to enhance their abilities to navigate tough conversations effectively.

Effective communication aids in establishing trust, understanding customer requirements, and delivering tailored solutions while facilitating collaboration, coordination, and alignment among team members. Taking into consideration this aspect, the HR team at Bennett University organized a workshop for the Marketing and Admissions Team on February 10, 2023.

Hence, to make the workplace free from stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health-related issues, the university always vouches to celebrate myriad festivals. To add more colour in life and work, it organised a Holi party to make their employees socialise over good food, good music and healthy interactions among faculties and staff.

Wellbeing
The HR department of Bennett University is committed in providing the utmost well-being to its employees. The HR takes initiative to motivate its employees to perform well in their domain, by upkeeping mental and physical health. From time to time, the department organises several sporting and wellness events to draw employees’ attention towards physical activity and bring them out of their sedentary lifestyle. On the onset of International Yoga Day, the varsity organises wellness week, wherein for the entire week, various activities are been carried out, for instance, Yoga, Zumba, meditation and much more. Furthermore, employees can avail gymnasium, besides, a sprawling sports complex, which has an array of sports including, badminton, football to be played.
To lay further emphasis on well-being, the varsity has a hospital inside the campus for immediate medical attention wherein doctors and nurses are at service 24x7. Also, it has a corporate tie-up with Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital, Greater Noida & Noida and Kailash Hospital, Greater Noida for better services for our employees and their dependents at discounted rates in OPD consultation, diagnostic tests and many more.

Unlike every year, this year’s wellness week drew special attention, after two years of lockdown and work from home.
In 13th edition of National Employee Wellness Month, it provides an opportunity for all of us to be a part of wellness activities and BU’s HR encourage all of employees to adopt proactive strategies to improve physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
The curated an Employee Wellness Week held from June 20 to June 24, which saw employees burned out stress & sweat, did mindfulness activities, meditation, yoga and zumba.

At the workplace, managing conflict becomes cumbersome. To detangle, HR at BU leaped forward and organised a workshop, Conflict Management at Workplace.
We all are different from each other. We have different needs, opinions, beliefs, preferences and values.
The question is, how do we cope with differences? Are they allowed to get in the way and be the source of conflict, or can we celebrate the differences and view them creatively?
Keeping this in mind HR is organising a workshop that offers an understanding of the nature of conflict and enables the participants to negotiate a solution. It aims to remove the mind-reading syndrome, which often accompanies conflict, and to replace it with open communication, trust, respect and a simple structure, which allows all parties to reach the magic of win -win.

As part of the L&D initiative led by Bennett University's HR team, a special workshop on handling difficult workplace conversations was organized on March 23, 2023. The workshop aimed to equip participants from various departments, including IT, Finance, IQAC, Admin, Registry, B&C, and Hostel Wardens, with valuable skills in managing challenging interactions. Attendees had the opportunity to enhance their abilities to navigate tough conversations effectively.
