Room to Grow
A campus home unlike any other.
Hampshire campus is unconventional, definitely quirky, and always welcoming. Here, you'll discover yourself and find community for life. You’ll create a life that balances friends, activities, and opportunities alongside your pursuit of learning.
Who are we?
Hampshire Student Affairs houses the
centers and offices
—from the Wellness Center to the Queer Community Alliance Center to Residential Life and Student Engagement, and many more. Student affairs strives to provide programming designed to enrich your learning and experiences outside the classroom, as well as care and support to improve your holistic well-being, and make your time here stimulating and fun.
Our mission is to create and support opportunities and experiences that promote a diverse community. Through collaboration, we aim to build a community that guides themselves under principles of active listening; frequent reflection and evaluation, respect for others, even in disagreement; constant intellectual and emotional growth; integrity; justice; and safety for all members of the Hampshire community.
What do we offer?
We offer
5
0+ student groups
, which support an eclectic range of
campus events and activities,
intercollegiate club sports
, intramurals, an
outdoor recreation program
, and access to the clubs, organizations, and events at the other
Five College schools
.
We are also home to the various identity-based centers on campus—such as the Cultural Center, the Queer Community Alliance Center, and Spiritual Life Center—which work to increase awareness and appreciation of different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives and to foster connections across social identities and ideas at Hampshire.
Whether you’re planning the line-up of live bands for Spring Jam, attending a multi-faith celebration, or designing a mural for one of the academic buildings, you have infinite opportunities to get involved and have an impact within the Hampshire community and the world!
