Find Your Path to University Success
At Southern Cross University, we believe there is more than one way to achieve your dreams. Your journey to a university degree is unique, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. If you're a school leaver, you can apply with your Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) through Tertiary Admissions Centres like UAC or QTAC or directly through the University.
Preparation programs:
Transition to Uni
: A fast-track fee-free option for school leavers eager to get started. This six-week program starting in January, equips you with essential skills for your studies.
Preparing for Success Program (PSP)
: Designed for any age in life, this fee-free program is tailored to help you refresh your skills and ease back into study over a three-month period.
Diplomas:
If you're still deciding on your career path or looking to change career, diplomas are a fantastic option. Diplomas allow you to explore your interests, gain valuable knowledge, and earn credit into a bachelor’s degree. It’s a great way to confirm you’ve chosen the right path before committing to a full degree.

I got my first grade at Uni and I just laughed out loud.
It it wasn't just a pass, I actually got a High Distinction. And I'd always done terrible at school.
I did uh the PSP course at SCU which gave me like the foundations of what you need to be able to study at Uni and um I didn't fail that, got good grades so I was like hey we'll keep going.
Studied a Bachelor in Psych, did alright so I kept going. And uh got into Honours and now I'm writing a thesis.
Getting that first grade was the first time that I felt like I can actually do this and it has led um me to to get to where I am now and I'm really grateful of it.

Making University education more accessible than ever before, SCU College supports students from diverse backgrounds, experiences and language groups. There are many pathways to University, a high school score is just one of them. If you don’t meet the Bachelor degree entry requirements, SCU College offers a range of alternative pathways to university study, including our Preparing for Success Program and Transition to Uni courses. The College also offers a range of Diplomas, which are guaranteed pathways to Bachelor degree studies provided you achieve the required results.
