A degree in Biology prepares you for a career filled with exciting opportunities. With top-flight professors and access to state-of-the-art labs, students will learn both classical biology, in addition to cutting-edge concepts in molecular and cellular biology, biotechnology, and medicine. They will also be prepared for graduate study, professional training in the medical sciences and allied health fields, teaching, or employment in industry concerned with the biological sciences.

St. Francis graduates have gone onto graduate and Ph.D, work at a number of prestigious universities.They work as physicians and physician assistants, veterinarians, dentists, podiatrists, scientists, teachers, x-ray technicians, sonographers and nurses, and can also pursue careers at biotechnology firms, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, as well as universities.
