I am coming to Rhodes next week (21-26 April) with my father, Jeremy Alhadeff. His grandfather, Marco Alhadeff was born in Rhodes (c1880), as was his grandmother, Esther Almeleh (c1894). We are very much looking forward to exploring the history of both the Alhadeff family and the wider Jewish community. Back in 2019, my niece Lisa Alhadeff and her husband Alistair spent their honeymoon in Rhodes. They visited Samy Modiano at the museum on a number of occasions and very much enjoyed exploring the family history with his help. If anyone is visiting at the same time and exploring similar family roots, do reach out to me: clare_hall@fastmail.co.uk
