Mission for the Office of Career & Professional Development
The Office of Career & Professional Development advances the mission of Albertus Magnus
College by assisting students and alumni in developing, evaluating and implementing
a career and professional development plan. As a division of the Office of Academic
Affairs, the Office of Career & Professional Development works collaboratively with
all areas of the College community and potential employers to enhance student and
alumni professional development.

Internship Success Stories: Garfield Robinson '23
Interning at the summer camp for All Saints Catholic Academy in New Haven was a homecoming
for this sports management major. As an alum of the school, Garfield was able to make
an impactful connection with the students.

During her summer internship, business management and accounting major Arooba Sholmiyet
at Albertus helped solve real problems and create real budgeting solutions for a local
website designer.

both virtual and in-person appointments on Monday – Friday and has extended hours
each Tuesday until 6:30 pm.
