The Faculty of Law at Chrisland University offers a rigorous curriculum that combines traditional legal education with contemporary issues and practical experiences. Our programme is designed to equip students with a deep understanding of the law, both in theory and in its application. We emphasize the development of strong analytical skills, ethical judgment, and the ability to advocate effectively.
Our programme is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the law, foster critical thinking, and develop advocacy skills. At Chrisland University, we prepare students not only for legal practice but also to be leaders and advocates for justice.
In futherance of the vision of Chrisland University which is to become a world claas university renowned for intellectual freedom, ethical standards research, communities service and the outstanding training of a new generation of good leaders, the Law programme is conceived to contribute its quota by ensuring an excellent knowledgeof law and a clear focus of the irreplaceable position of law in the society.
The College of Law is established to positively impact meaningfully to the improvement and augmentation of legal studies and pratice by providing a first class academic and research environment aimed at facilitating academic dilligence, analytical and decisive engagement as well as reflective ethical values.
Philosophy and Mission of the Faculty
The philosophy of the programme is conceived to achieve the goals of the university by providing a first class academic and research environment where the legal needs of the society and mankind in general are paramount to the achievements of the university, law does not operate in a vacuum thus, all human activities social , economic, political take place within legal framework. it is therfore essential for the students of law to have a broad general knowledge and exposure to other disciplines within the socio-legal milieu and folllow through in the acquisition of legal education. The programme is aimed at producing graduates who can adopt technology in critical analysis in addressing the legal needs of the society and faciliatating policy beneficial to mankind
