The School of Engineering & Applied Sciences is an exciting place to be as it provides an environment that encourages the holistic development of a student and help transform students into lifelong learners with the ability to thrive in an ever-changing world.
The school offers undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral level programs. The programs aim to blend rigorous academic instruction with real-world experiential learning. Whether you are interested in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computing, Engineering Physics or Biotechnology, our programs equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their chosen field. We emphasize to integrate classroom learning, internships, and experiential projects, we emphasize learnability in the curriculum ensuring that our students are well-prepared to adapt to new challenges and opportunities in their chosen careers. We believe in imparting pedagogical method to cater to student inclusivity and diversity. Students are also provided with an option to choose specialization courses in all our undergraduate programs offered by the school. The specialization courses are designed to develop skill set as per the current research trends and Industry requirements. Curriculum is tailored and periodically reviewed based on student feedbacks, faculty, alumni and experts from both Academia and Industry.
All faculty are PhD holders from reputed Institutes in India and abroad and possess post-doctoral experience from some of the best Universities abroad.
The School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Bennett University remains at the forefront of innovation and cutting-edge research. Our faculty, serve in prominent leadership and editorial positions, and pursue impactful research with an interdisciplinary focus to address the complex challenges facing society today. This spirit of inquiry and exploration translates directly into the classroom, enriching our students' learning experiences and preparing them to be ethical problem solvers. The faculty has been sanctioned extramural grants from funding agencies. Besides teaching & research, most of the faculty in SEAS also supervise and mentor PhD scholars registered at the University.
The Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Nanosensors and Nanomedicine under SEAS is a collaborative effort by all four departments that aims to foster interdisciplinary, cutting-edge research towards developing diagnostic and therapeutics in nanoscale for the healthcare sector and nanosensors for industrial purposes.
We are proud of our alumni who have moved to institutes of high repute both in India & abroad for their higher studies. We started our journey in the year 2016. Over the past five years we have grown our expertise and competence in the core Mechanical Engineering curriculum and research. We offer a strong undergraduate programme in Mechanical Engineering, whereas, at the post graduate level, we offer Ph.D degrees. Several sponsored candidates from industries carry out their postgraduate studies in our department.
Our department offers science-based engineering curriculum, emphasises to impart technical knowledge to students to make them proficient in solving engineering problems. The department offers large number of elective courses for providing wide spectrum of options to the students to pursue their interest in aerospace engineering, biomechanics, robotics and automation, advanced materials and manufacturing techniques, computer aided modelling & simulation studies and energy systems engineering. The course contents are periodically updated for introducing new scientific and technological developments.
Undergraduate students are encouraged to undertake various research projects, as well as live projects with industries, to give them exposure to industrial environment and working ethics. Since, industrial internships and R&D projects are an integral part of B. Tech ME curriculum.
Our Department maintains active research groups for carrying out collaborative and interdisciplinary research. We have state-of-the-art research facilities to support our academic programmes and research. Our faculty members have excellent academic credentials; and are members of editorial boards of national and international journals. They review technical articles for journals on a regular basis and organise international symposia and conferences.

The School of Engineering & Applied Sciences is an exciting place to be as it provides an environment that encourages the holistic development of a student and help transform students into lifelong learners with the ability to thrive in an ever-changing world.
The school offers undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral level programs. The programs aim to blend rigorous academic instruction with real-world experiential learning. Whether you are interested in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Computing, Engineering Physics or Biotechnology, our programs equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their chosen field. We emphasize to integrate classroom learning, internships, and experiential projects, we emphasize learnability in the curriculum ensuring that our students are well-prepared to adapt to new challenges and opportunities in their chosen careers. We believe in imparting pedagogical method to cater to student inclusivity and diversity. Students are also provided with an option to choose specialization courses in all our undergraduate programs offered by the school. The specialization courses are designed to develop skill set as per the current research trends and Industry requirements. Curriculum is tailored and periodically reviewed based on student feedbacks, faculty, alumni and experts from both Academia and Industry.
All faculty are PhD holders from reputed Institutes in India and abroad and possess post-doctoral experience from some of the best Universities abroad.
The School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Bennett University remains at the forefront of innovation and cutting-edge research. Our faculty, serve in prominent leadership and editorial positions, and pursue impactful research with an interdisciplinary focus to address the complex challenges facing society today. This spirit of inquiry and exploration translates directly into the classroom, enriching our students' learning experiences and preparing them to be ethical problem solvers. The faculty has been sanctioned extramural grants from funding agencies. Besides teaching & research, most of the faculty in SEAS also supervise and mentor PhD scholars registered at the University.
The Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Nanosensors and Nanomedicine under SEAS is a collaborative effort by all four departments that aims to foster interdisciplinary, cutting-edge research towards developing diagnostic and therapeutics in nanoscale for the healthcare sector and nanosensors for industrial purposes.
We are proud of our alumni who have moved to institutes of high repute both in India & abroad for their higher studies. Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the most diverse technological fields in the world. The Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Bennett University offers B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Tech Electronics and Computer Engineering, and Ph.D programs. The SEAS provides unique opportunities in the field of research and development. The school covers the broadest areas in research.
In tune with the academic philosophy of the University, the Department's curricula for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs aim at producing high-quality engineers in the area of Electronics & Communication who can take up challenges in design, development, research and manufacturing in areas such as the Internet of Things, 5G & Beyond, and Information Processing & Analytics. Students shall undertake courses in Basic Sciences, Mathematics, Basic Engineering as well as in core subjects of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). They would be supported by laboratory facilities. All laboratories are equipped with state of the art instruments and software tools to enable students to perform design-oriented experiments and test their designs by simulation in research areas of Nanotechnology, VLSI Design & VLSI Signal Processing, Signal Processing for Information, Antenna and Microwave for 5G and above.

In a way, Mechanical Engineers are involved in creating the future. They are the driving force behind many of the technologies and industrial processes in our modern world. Mechanical Engineering will be offered to train manpower with quality education in manufacturing, design, automation and thermal sciences. Students will have adequate flexibility to specialise in areas of their choice through the selection of electives and projects. The course will be designed to provide students with adequate exposure for hands-on experience in practice and design. We offer a strong undergraduate programme in Mechanical Engineering, whereas, at the post graduate level, we offer Ph.D degrees. Several sponsored candidates from industries carry out their postgraduate studies in our department.
Our department offers science-based engineering curriculum, emphasises to impart technical knowledge to students to make them proficient in solving engineering problems. The department offers large number of elective courses for providing wide spectrum of options to the students to pursue their interest in aerospace engineering, biomechanics, robotics and automation, advanced materials and manufacturing techniques, computer aided modelling & simulation studies and energy systems engineering. The course contents are periodically updated for introducing new scientific and technological developments.
Undergraduate students are encouraged to undertake various research projects, as well as live projects with industries, to give them exposure to industrial environment and working ethics. Since, industrial internships and R&D projects are an integral part of B. Tech ME curriculum.
Our Department maintains active research groups for carrying out collaborative and interdisciplinary research. We have state-of-the-art research facilities to support our academic programmes and research. Our faculty members have excellent academic credentials; and are members of editorial boards of national and international journals. They review technical articles for journals on a regular basis and organise international symposia and conferences.
We are extremely confident that in years to come, ME Department, with its industry curriculum, as well as active industrial and interdisciplinary research collaborations, will strengthen and enforce the reputation of itself as well as of Bennett University, as an enviable platform for higher education!
