The Clery Act
In accordance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the Security Office maintains a Daily Crime and Fire Log and publish the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report. This information provides crime statistics, fire statistics, missing person policies, sex offender registry, and other safety and security policies regarding our campus. This information is available to the public, students, employees, prospective students, and prospective employees.
The Tennessee “College and University Security Information Act,” specifically TCA §49-7-2206, requires the University to maintain an arrest log which is published alongside the daily crime log. Along with their criminal charges, crimes that resulted in an arrest will also include the name and address of the arrested individual.
The Daily Crime and Fire Log is available for inspection during normal business hours. Visit the Campus Security office located in the Vera Low Center or call at 731-352-4222.
