In Contemporary times, Physical Education and Sports play an integral part in education. GNA University’s Physical Education and Sports curriculum have been specially designed to focus on the expertise in games, sports, physical activities, mental growth, health, and overall personality development of the students. The physical education and sports program will provide students an opportunity to prepare for scientific teaching, training, coaching, and participate in higher-level sports competitions at the national and international levels.
The highly experienced faculty in Physical Education and Sports at GU nurture the students not only physically but also psychologically and emotionally in a competitive world. Therefore, the prime focus of the program is to prepare and motivate all students to engage in sports activities, which promote sportive culture, health, and physical wellbeing.

we hope that by participating in physical education and sports program, students will be able to expand their surplus energy in fruitful manner by being active learners of fitness concepts and by developing good social skills, and maintaining a positive self-concept.

Career options for candidates with Physical Education and Sports studies in India or in abroad: There are many career options for candidates doing Physical Education and Sports studies like Teaching from School to Higher Education, Sport Coach, Fitness Expert, and Sports Nutrition Expert, Sports Scientist and Sport Engineers also. Candidates after completing their Bachelor’s Degree in any stream like BPES B.A/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA/BCA,can go for “BPEd”: Bachelor of Physical Education and after that “MPEd”:Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports Studies and are also eligible for Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Management, Fitness, Sport Nutrition, Coaching Studies, MBA, M.Phil and finally Ph.D.
Research:
Research has given new dimensions to physical education and sports with the use of science and modern technology. Neither the analysis nor the improvements of human movement are possible without it. Research has helped sports scientist to record the athlete potential in early phases of life today in sports with the help of gain the speed, wind flow surface of track modified equipment or sportswear etc.
