Nephrology: Kidney Care
The Division of Nephrology at UI Health treats patients with conditions and diseases of the kidney, including Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), kidney transplantation, acute kidney failure, kidney stones, and immunological kidney diseases, as well as end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
Caring For Your Kidneys
At UI Health, beyond offering a comprehensive scope of diagnostic and treatment options, we also provide patients with access to caregivers who have specialized training related to the kidneys, along with a dialysis center.
At every stage of the process, your care is handled by a team of providers—including physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, and dietitians—with unique expertise in kidney diseases and disorders.
In addition to their specialty training, these providers remain up to date on the latest techniques, technologies, and research to provide you with the most current treatment options and positive outcomes.
