SGU's Nursing department was honored to host the South Dakota Board of Nursing on Wednesday, April 15th, amidst an eventful and beautiful day here at SGU. Sinte Gleska University Shines at AIHEC 2026: Students Bring Home Top Honors
By: Teddie Rae Herman, SGU Media BISMARCK, ND - Many of our Sinte Gleska University students excitedly left the morning of March 14th, 2026, to travel to Bismarck, ND, to attend the annual 2026 American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC) Student Conference, held at the Bismarck Event Center. Sinte Gleska University has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC – formerly the North Central Association) since 1983. Because SGU is accredited, colleges and universities across the United States will review courses that students take at SGU and will consider them for transfer.
