What is A Day?
Anderson Day (A Day) is a
special fundraising campaign
that supports student scholarships, campus programs and improvements at Anderson University. But at its heart, A Day is a celebration of the school we all love and an opportunity to turn our appreciation into action.
"In the Spring of each year, AU Trojans around the globe come together to support their A Day causes for which they are most passionate. We need your help this A Day, beginning now and culminating on March 31, 2026. As part of Anderson University’s family, we thank you for making a difference!"
Every gift impacts one of the following areas: academic achievement, athletic endeavors, campus enhancements, ministry opportunities, student scholarships or the senior class gift. We hope your life has been touched by at least one of these areas. We would love to see you give back and touch someone else’s life on A Day.
No matter the amount, your gift makes a difference.

Academic Achievement
Anderson University students are driven by innovation, engaged in active learning, and eager to make positive changes in the world. The Academic Achievement causes help provide our students with rigorous and engaging learning experiences that emphasize the knowledge, intellectual skills, and conceptual framework central to each discipline. Your investment in our students’ education is priceless.
College of Arts and Sciences
We are excited to transform Watkins 138 into a flexible, high-tech simulation room where students can practice mock trials, diplomatic negotiations, conflict resolution, and other hands-on learning activities. The redesigned space will feature glassboards for problem solving; a clear and reliable audio system; and two large monitors for displaying evidence, briefs, and real-time documents. New lightweight, movable furniture will let the room shift easily from a courtroom setup to a negotiation table or small-group stations, giving every class the perfect layout. With both a movable podium and a fixed computer podium, instructors and students will have the tools they need for smooth, engaging, and immersive simulations—creating a truly dynamic space where learning comes to life.
$7,500
College of Business & Economics
A Day gifts for the College of Business and Economics will help our students take their learning beyond the classroom by joining academic research projects, presenting at conferences, and competing in national team events. These opportunities build real-world skills, boost confidence, and open important doors for their future careers. With your help, our students can represent our school proudly while gaining experiences that will last a lifetime.
$10,000
Center for Cybersecurity
A Day gifts to the Center for Cybersecurity will help create a new Critical Infrastructure Lab. This space will include real-world technology—like sensors and controllers—used in essential systems such as energy, water, agriculture, and emergency services. Students will get hands-on practice with the same tools they’ll protect in their future careers. Your support will give them a powerful training environment for offensive, defensive, and forensic cybersecurity work.
$30,000
College of Christian Studies
On A Day, join us in supporting ministerial scholarships for students in the College of Christian Studies and Clamp Divinity School. These annual scholarships give important financial help to students preparing for Christian ministry. With this support, they can focus on their studies, grow in their faith, and gain real ministry experience. Your gift is an investment in the next generation of pastors, missionaries, and ministry leaders. Together, we can help equip them to serve churches and communities with excellence and faithfulness.
$10,000
College of Education
The Collaboration Laboratory will be a state-of-the-art space where future educators work together and use new technology to improve K–12 learning. It will also support graduate students through advanced virtual tools that let them learn and connect from anywhere. More than just a room, this lab is an investment in the future of education and in the teachers who will shape the next generation. By giving through A Day, you help create a place where collaboration and innovation can thrive. Together, we can build a powerful hub that supports students, faculty, and the K–12 learners who will benefit from our graduates.
$29,750
College of Engineering
Your support on this Day of Giving will help the Anderson University College of Engineering purchase a Unitree Go2EDU AI Quadruped Robot Dog, a cutting-edge tool that will elevate student learning. This advanced robot will give students hands-on experience in robotics, artificial intelligence, and automation. It will enrich our Computer and Electrical Engineering programs while helping us attract top engineering talent. Join us in preparing the next generation of engineers to lead in a fast-changing technological world!
$15,000
College of Health Professions
A Day funds will help our faculty and students safely transport educational materials, medical supplies, and clinical items for our pediatric programs. Currently, everything must be carried by hand in an old van, making setup slow and difficult. Your support will help us purchase a 7×14-foot trailer, professionally wrapped with the
Teddy Gets a Checkup
logo, to make our outreach faster, safer, and more effective for the children we serve.
$15,000
Honors Program
Help first-year Honors College students attend a one-week Bible course at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C., where they will explore ancient artifacts, early manuscripts, and Martin Luther’s personal study Bible. Students will study Bible translation, canonization, and interpretation while enjoying guided tours of D.C. monuments, the U.S. Capitol, and Smithsonian museums. Taught by AU Bible scholars Dr. Bryan Cribb and Dr. Channing Crisler, this immersive experience will inspire students and deepen their understanding of Scripture.
$10,000
School of Interior Design
A Day gifts for the School of Interior Design are greatly needed to provide the equipment requests for the growing program. Funds will be used to purchase an HP DesignJet XL 3800 Plotter as well as additional Steelcase Air Touch Tables and Amia Chairs to meet student instructional studio needs. Funds will also be used to upgrade instructional equipment technology by providing an Encore Lectern for the main studio to enhance presentation quality.
$30,000
School of Public Service and Administration
The School of Public Service and Administration offers a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in Forensics and Criminal Investigations, and we need your support for our Forensics Degree Program. Funding will provide essential lab equipment like microscopes, DNA analysis tools, and crime scene reconstruction kits, giving students hands-on experience and practical training. Your support will prepare students to become skilled forensic professionals who advance justice and public safety in our community.
$64,000
The South Carolina School of the Arts
The Belk Theatre still depends on an old lighting system from 1996, and after years of heavy use, it’s no longer reliable for our busy productions. Upgrading to modern LED lighting will save energy, offer more creative possibilities, and give our students hands-on experience with today’s industry technology. This project will help replace a system that has been repaired again and again and is now far out of date. We invite you to join us in “lighting the future” for our students and dedicated faculty who produce such wonderful theatrical productions each year for the enjoyment of the AU family and the surrounding communities.
$175,000
College of Health Professions
The College of Health Professions will be using A Day funds to help with their Pediatric Health Promotion Teddy Gets a Check-up Clinic. Anderson University’s Teddy Bear clinic is a wonderful opportunity for AU faculty and nursing students to teach children about healthcare and minimize fear that often comes when seeing a physician or nurse. The Teddy Bear Clinics also provide students in the College of Health Professions service-learning, giving them a more comprehensive understanding of healthcare as well as a stronger sense of autonomy and confidence in themselves. A Day funds would be used to purchase teddy bears, clinic supplies, upfit a trailer that was gifted to the program to take to different sites such as schools, community activities and programs, churches, etc.
$40,000
Athletic Endeavors
Our athletic programs are an integral part of Anderson University. The Trojan family loves to rally around sporting events. Our student-athletes, coaches and trainers need your support to keep growing AU Athletics. The Athletic Endeavors causes help build the Trojan legacy on and off the court/field.
Trojan Athletics
Join us in building the Trojan Brand—a bold effort to tell the Trojan story and turn our athletic campus into a place full of pride, tradition, and excitement. With your support, we will reimagine the Abney Athletic Center and the Trojan Fieldhouse into vibrant, inspiring spaces that welcome more than 50,000 guests each year to experience Trojan athletics at its best. Together, we will spark Trojan pride like never before, creating an unforgettable environment that celebrates who we are, inspires everyone who walks through our doors, and strengthens the Trojan legacy for generations to come. With your partnership, we can make it happen.
$15,000
Trojan Nutrition and Wellness
Join us as we continue to strive to offer the best student-athlete experience in the nation here at Anderson University. Nutrition is an important, and often overlooked, component of student-athletes’ success and we need your help in developing a holistic approach for the health of our student-athlete. Here at AU, when we talk about nutrition, we are talking about how to optimize our student-athletes’ physical and mental well-being. We will do this by empowering them to achieve peak performance through comprehensive nutrition education and resources. With your support, we hope to provide health related resources that will aid our student-athletes in making informed nutrition decisions that cultivate champions both in and out of competition. We want them to be healthy and we believe this can be done through education and other nutrition related activities – dieting, sleep, recovery, and so much more.
$25,000
Ministry Opportunities
The college years are a critical time for young adults. This is a season of life where students often make decisions related to their faith. Anderson University’s Christian faculty and staff, challenging spiritual programs, and thriving Christian ministries exist to foster a community of faith. The Campus Ministries causes help students come together to deepen their faith, share Christ’s love, and pursue their God-given callings.
Campus Ministries
The Campus Ministries A Day cause helps send Anderson University students on mission trips across the country and around the world. Your gift covers travel and ministry needs so students can serve safely and share the hope of Christ. Most of all, your support helps them grow as leaders and make a real difference for God’s Kingdom—both on the mission field and back home.
$7,500
Senior Gift
The senior class gift is to create and install a marble seal commemorating our beloved alma mater in front of the Merritt Admissions Building, a central and prominent area on campus. The following is to be inscribed: “there’s one thing that only God can know; What Anderson means to me.”
$12,000
Student Scholarships
Anderson Fund
Through your A Day gifts to the Anderson Fund, you can Light the Journey in helping to provide scholarships and grants to deserving students and to strengthen programs that support our Christ-centered mission.
$250,000
One Anderson: The Center for Community, Dignity, and Inclusive Campus Family
In a time marked not only by division, but by growing divisiveness and violence, the Ambassador Andrew Young Fellowship at Anderson University invests in the virtues modeled in the life of Jesus and reflected in the leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.. The Ambassador Andrew Young Fellowship brings together students from Christian universities, HBCUs and Anderson University for a focused week of learning about civility, public service, and the non-violence principles of the Civil Rights Movement.
Rooted in these biblical values, the program equips young leaders through informed lectures, guided dialogue, and community service and engagement to live out principles that confront hatred, resist injustice, and restore civility.
By supporting the fellowship, you help students learn to stand for human dignity, justice, and unity. Your gift provides scholarships to enable students to attend this unique program and invests in future leaders who will work to build a better and more hopeful world.
$24,000
Christian Ministry Foundation Endowed Scholarship
A Day gifts going into the Christian Ministry Foundation Endowment provide scholarships for students answering the call into full-time Christian Ministry and Missions. It is designed to help students defray the costs of higher education and graduate with less college debt as they begin full-time ministry.
