Apart from academics and professionalism, the sense of belonging that Yenepoya gives to its students and Alumni is unique. We came in as raw immature teenagers and the values that our time at YDC gave us, molded us to what we are today. When we joined the college in 1994, Yenepoya was not a known name in the field of Medical Education. All respects and accolades to the management of Yenepoya who had this vision and worked towards creating this University to what it is now.
Am proud and happy to have had five dental specialists who are YDC alumni and my dear friends namely Dr Mohammed Shahid, Dr Shaji Wahabuddin, Dr Mehanas KK, Dr Shafees Koya and Dr Sulfia Nasser working with me in my medical centre. As many of you may not be aware, I was the first one to register as a student in the prestigious college and university and it's an honor to write this. If it weren't for YDC, I would not be writing this testimony today. I am indebted to this institution for all my success in life. I had the honor to be invited to speak at my Alma Mater in 2019 and I am thankful to the Yenepoya University Alumni Association YUAA.
