Dr. Trevor is a professor in the arts and sciences department and also serves as Vice President, Strategic Innovation and Partnerships, and Chief Student Affairs Officer.
Trained as an interdisciplinarian in the U.K., Dr. T’s academic and research focus is early modern drama, literature, and philosophy, especially translations of Aristotle, Seneca and Cicero. She teaches writing and ethics, and believes that she has a responsibility to create a learning environment for students that challenges, energizes, and prompts further inquiry.
If there’s a dog on campus, you can be sure Dr. T is close by. When not enjoying campus visits from therapy dogs, you will find Dr. T working with external partners and her colleagues in the Academic Success Center on ways to further the student learning experience and help students achieve their academic and professional goals.

Dr. Theimer is a professor in the Arts and Sciences Department and also serves as the Chair of the Arts and Sciences Department and Program Director of the Health and Occupational Sciences program.
Her academic experience is in biochemistry and biophysics, with a past research history on the structure and function relationships in RNA molecules and their impact on health and disease. She teaches chemistry, math, biology, and physics, and has more recently received a degree in Public Health, to teach in those areas as well.
Dr. Theimer is passionate about lifelong learning and finding the next new opportunity for growth for herself and her students, but also tries to take time to stop and smell the roses (or rather the wild orange poppies that bloom in front of her house every Spring).
