FDLTCC's Foundation Emergency Grant
FDLTCC’s Foundation Emergency Grant program Supports eligible students at risk of dropping out of college due to unexpected financial emergencies. Eligible expenses include childcare, food/meals, gas, housing/rent, medical/dental expenses, personal automobile expenses, public transportation/bus pass, and utilities. To be eligible for this program, students must be attending classes regularly.
An award grant of up to $500.00 (once per academic year) is available to eligible students experiencing a financial emergency—defined as an unforeseen expense that, if not resolved quickly, could lead to the student’s departure from the college and a loss of momentum toward completion.
To complete the application process, you will need to submit documentation to support your request. Examples of relevant documentation includes: a billing statement, layoff or furlough notice, receipt for recent course materials or technology purchases, childcare expense, rent or mortgage statement, etc. You may want to find these documents prior to starting your application. Once your application is submitted, you will be contacted by a member of our staff.

Testimonials
It is awesome here at the FDLTCC Education Program because it is like a family here, if you need help or are struggling with anything, you have quite a few people who will help you out.
I chose FDLTCC because of its size and the curriculum. When I first came here in 2019, I was just looking for what I needed to volunteer, perhaps in a crisis shelter. I met with Don Jarvinen, and the rest is history.
My favorite thing about FDLTCC is the people. I’ve met fantastic students, faculty and staff who go above and beyond what I expected.
Welcome to FDLTCC
FDLTCC is closed Friday, March 13, due to hazardous weather conditions. No evening activities
