The Underground Experience – Hourly Boat Trips
The Underground Experience, runs Monday to Sunday with boats departing every 60 minutes. This unique experience lasts 45 minutes and navigates the underground network of winding tunnels, open basins and huge caverns, as we tell the story of 428 million years of history.
Grab your hard hat and follow our skippers on a guided tour through the second longest navigable tunnel in the UK, demonstrations, light shows and expert knowledge await on our most popular trip. Looking for something longer, check out all our

Tickets start at as little as £11 per person, with family & friend group save tickets, new for 2026 – Pay Once and Visit for 12 months (with GiftAid Ticket)
