The Teaching Hospital’s breadth of excellence and culture of innovation uniquely position it to attract and retain the best faculty in this part of the country, offering its teeming patients a wide spectrum of opportunities for medical cases and emergencies... Our medical enterprise provides access to unparalleled patient care across Abia State and its environs.

Patient Reviews
I would like to thank Abia State University Teaching Hospital (ABSUTH), Aba
for all the treatment and care they gave to me during my hospital stay. Special Thanks
goes to The Chief Surgeon and also to the ward 5 Nurse, Mrs Nwosu.

Heart Patient
Dr Ahamefula Agu is an amazing person and so professional in his work. It is
not easy to make everyone feel that they are important,
but I and my wife gained that feelings with him.
Dr Ahamefula Agu, you will stay in our hearts and our life for ever. You
changed our life when you helped my wife to give birth comfortably to
our daughter, Sophia.
Mr Ambrose Ojukwu
Obstetrics & Gynaecology
My family members and I have been patients of Dr. S. Ekpemo for many years and I can honestly say He is an amazing doctor. He and the Hospital staff provided excellent care and always took time to answer questions. I also appreciate that he offers online check-ins so I can get in and out quickly instead of spending hours in the waiting room. The entire staff were very supportive and helpful.
