Publication Scheme The Freedom of Information Act came fully into force on 1 January 2005 and aims to promote greater openness and accountability across the public sector. Freedom of Information The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives people the right to request information from the University and other public sector bodies. Data Protection UWTSD needs to process and store information (including personal information known as 'Personal Data' and sensitive data known as 'Special Category Data') about students, employees and others to effectively carry out its business. Fee and Access Plan The Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW) has approved the Fee and Access Plans of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, allowing it to set tuition fees for its undergraduate courses for full-time Home/EU undergraduate entrants. Honorary Awards Every year the University recognises persons of distinction by presenting them with Honorary Fellowships or Honorary Degrees, normally at a Degree Congregation. External Complaints The University welcomes constructive feedback on its activities and recognises that, from time to time, people or organisations external to the University may feel their expectations have not been met by the University, its staff or its students.
