Named Social Worker
Having a named social worker can contribute to people achieving better outcomes. A 2018 project looked at how people with learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs – and their families – can be in control of decisions about their own future, and are supported to live with the dignity and independence which we all strive for. Now, the initiative of having a named social worker is being extended to other people who draw on care and support.

This webinar, recorded in April 2022, looks at how the named social worker, and named worker models, have been developed across adult social care, and the practicalities of making this happen.
