Salisbury. Forever.
Since 1925, Salisbury University has empowered students with knowledge, opportunity, and a lasting sense
of community. From our beginnings as a
State Normal School for teachers, we have been a place where ambitions take flight.
For 100 years, our students have arrived with dreams and left with the skills and experiences to shape
tomorrow. We've created bonds that
last a lifetime, opened doors to opportunities, and built a legacy of success. We've evolved with new
ways of learning, but our commitment to
excellence persists.
As we celebrate our centennial, our promise remains:
Salisbury. Forever.
This promise honors the legacy
of our SU community and drives us
forward with the same Sea Gull spirit that has defined us for a century.
Join us in celebrating 100
years of Salisbury University and the
incredible future ahead.
"This is a celebration of our graduates who have made an incredible impact across the globe,
the faculty and staff who have served our University with pride, current and future students
who will continue to shape the world for decades to come, and our community that has supported
us along the way."
--Dr. Carolyn Ringer Lepre
President, Salisbury University
A Sea Gull for Life
At Salisbury, we believe that education is about building lifelong relationships.
For 100 years, we've fostered a tight-knit community where students, faculty and staff
form bonds that go far beyond graduation. Here, every student has the support they need to
thrive. Being a Sea Gull means being part of a family that lasts forever. Once a Sea Gull, always a
Sea Gull.
Spreading Our Wings
For a century, we've opened doors to boundless opportunities.
With engaged faculty guiding the way, our students have embraced hands-on learning
that prepares them for the future. From internships to research to study abroad,
we've always encouraged Sea Gulls to broaden their horizons and dream big.
Here, the return on your investment opens a lifetime of possibilities.
Legacy of Success
Salisbury has built a legacy of excellence in the classroom and on the field.
We cultivate an environment where students excel in their studies, achieving
their full potential, with athletics also at the heart of what it means to be
a Sea Gull. Led by our beloved mascot Sammy, wearing maroon and gold means
belonging to a community of champions — in the classroom and in competition.
