The Library has three main parts:
Accessible Books and Library Services
: Offers books, materials, and equipment for people who can’t use regular print due to a visual or physical disability.
Government & Heritage Library
: Helps people explore North Carolina’s history, culture, and family roots with a wide range of resources.
Library Development
: Supports libraries across the state with expert advice, training, grants, and funding.
