Communication Technology Center (ICTC)
Aims to coordinate and focus IT activities in order to minimize costs as well as
maximize benefits from the synergy of the various program components that would
significantly contribute to a successful IT programs, among others.

realization by enabling him to dynamically understand himself in relation to his

MSU-IIT Center

eLearning (MICeL)
Provides support in the development of interactive elearning courses and,
instructional materials of the institute.
Fab Lab
Mindanao
Fab Lab is a technical prototyping platform for innovation and invention, providing
stimulus for local entrepreneurship. It is also a platform for learning and
innovation: a place to play, to create, to learn, to mentor, and to invent.
Center of
Innovation
and Technopreneurship @ MSU-IIT
CIT is the first business incubator in Mindanao funded by DOST-PCIEERD that aims to
create a progressive entrepreneurial ecosystem through various community building
activities and technology-based business support services to enable budding
entrepreneurs in the region to fulfill their startup dreams.
Institute for
Peace
and Development in Mindanao (IPDM)
Institutionalize and integrate peace into the basic and tertiary education by
including the teaching and learning of peace into the mandates of the Department of
Education and Higher Education Institutions.
CHED-Philippine
Higher Education Research Network (PHERNet) Center
The network is aimed at encouraging and facilitating collaborative,
interdisciplinary / multisectoral approaches to the generation and dissemination of
new knowledge and technologies.
Center for Local
Governance Studies
Provide demand-driven training, education and development interventions to local
government units (LGUs) in Lanao del Norte.
Center for Human
Rights Education
Designs and implements a human rights education for MSU-IIT constituents and assist
other government agencies and non-governmental organizations in the preparation and
implementation of their human rights and education programs.
Gender and
Development Center
Institutionalize the Institute’s commitment to mainstream gender and development in
its policies and programs.
Premier Research
Institute of Science and Mathematics (PRISM)
Foster, facilitate and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers
in the various fields of Sciences, Mathematics and allied fields.
Microelectronics
Laboratory (Microlab)
The Microlab is equipped with industry-standard IC design Cadence and Synopsys tools. These design
software suites include tools for the design, layout, and verification of integrated circuits. It can
also cater a platform for both cell-based and full-custom content speeds, complex chip design, and
integration tasks that can keep up with the challenges and demands of today’s nanometer technology.
Control and
Robotics Laboratory
Established in 2020, the Control and Robotics Laboratory of the College of Engineering is working on
research related to control, robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and information
system. The main objective of the laboratory is to utilize robotic technologies for infrastructure
inspection and disaster prevention. The team comprises electrical, computer and mechanical engineers
and engineering students.

MSU-IIT is the Zonal Research Center for Regions XII, IX and the Autonomous Region in
Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) and also known as the Information and Communication Technology
Learning Hub for Northern Mindanao and the Virtual Center for Technology Innovation -
Microelectronics based on the standards of the Department of Science and Technology
(DOST).
